
Devs notes
We dedicated the last two weeks to address the feedback we got from the demo published for the Steam Next Fest, focusing on breaking bugs, crashes, and important quality of life changes.
We’re not intending to update the demo again in the next weeks, except for potential breaking bugs that slipped under our radar. Our focus will shift on the next version of the game, feature-wise, which we’ll talk about in greater length in an upcoming announcement.
All that being said, we know there are a number of frustrating elements, or things that need tweaking, that have been reported to us and are not addressed yet. We’ve got them written down in our backlog, and will take them on along the development of the next update.

Bugfixes
- Fix various crashes
- Remove unused bindings
- Fix feedback text growing infinitely in boss mission
- Cash sound now plays at correct time during reward
- Fix undo/redo not applying in some cases
- Fix quick saving removing the ship name in some cases
- Fix camera going into objects in orthographic view
- Fixed inconsistent fire rate for guns
- Fixed a bug where gizmos could be shown when moving a component
- Fixed SAS warning even though the SAS component was not unlocked
- Fixed warnings not disappearing when all components from a system are removed
- Prevent power cell batteries from slicing the hull
- Fix contract window not telling that the contract is not selected in some cases
- Fix possible freeze when unhovering elements with symmetric
Improvements
UI
- Add UI scaling settings
- Open contract card on double click
- Fix bad initialization of some settings in the settings UI
- Display damages of all guns and the missile launcher in the catalog
- Catalog stats colors now match their component’s system
- Added tooltips to the components catalog’s categories
- Added a warning in the mandatory component task when the required component is not unlocked
- Add button to open manual in the Design Screen
- Warning windows can be closed with Escape now
- Add axes colors in dimensions task
- Remove unused (yet) rank of contract
- Fix incorrect labels/tooltips
Visuals
- Change fuel tanks color for better contrast
- Updated components miniatures to reflect models changes
- Update ship data button gets disabled once used
- Update player’s avatar visuals and animations
- Improve structure elements visuals
Audio
- Change minigun sound
- Adjust volume of some weapons to make it bearable
Gameplay
- Improve DPS task visuals and DPS calculation
- Update thrusters values
- Ship data is correctly updated when no main components (only hull)
- Add update hull button to components layer
- Added horizon navball to default spics
- Lock hull layer if no hull unlocked
- Add autosave when leaving the Design Screen
- Improve tutorial and manual
- Cockpit is interactable with left click (design screen main button) in free view
- Time attack time remains after finishing the test (finish line or crash)
- Add warning before removing the root component of a design
- Change minigun sound effect to be bearable
- Add warning when trying to start a test without a valid design
- Bind cardinal camera views to standard 1, 3, 7 numeric keypad keys.
Performance
- Improve loading and management of asteroids fields
- Fix fps drop when unhovering ship with symmetric elements in the design screen
